Exploring Supervision
This workshop focuses on supervisory models from Holloway, Burbage and Hewson, that aren't always covered in todays core supervision training programmes. It also incorporates a range of therapeutic interventions that are particularly useful in a supervisory setting, for assisting supervisees to develop self-knowledge and self-awareness.
Who is this course for?
This workshop is specifically designed for newly qualified supervisors, or for those supervisors whose core supervision training focused on the seven-eyed model of supervision, and who may want to broaden their supervisory repertoire. It combines theory and practice to grow confidence as well as knowledge, and in acknowledgement of the increase in the number of people training to be counsellors, reviews the differences between supervising students, newly qualified therapists, and experienced practitioners.
The day begins at 10am and finishes at 5pm.
You will receive a comprehensive course manual (electronically for online dates), and tea/coffee and biscuits etc. are provided for in person settings.
